Meet the Founder: Jose Gonzalez
Jose’s journey is both inspiring and emblematic of what Legacy stands for. A graduate of the Accelerated Learning Laboratory and later, Stanford University, Jose’s academic prowess is matched only by his diverse achievements and experiences. His accolades include being a two-time Chinese Bridge Champion (2013 & 2017) and a Chinese Hero Champion in 2014. But beyond these accomplishments lies a story of global exploration and cultural immersion—Jose served as a missionary in Thailand and Laos, enriching his worldview and deepening his understanding of diverse cultures and communities.
With 9 years of experience in college consulting, Jose’s insights and guidance have illuminated the path for countless students. Under his mentorship, students have found places in each of the top 30 schools in the US, a testament to his dedication, expertise, and personal touch. Furthermore, Jose’s partnership with Green Fields School in Tucson, AZ, solidifies Legacy’s connection with some of the most prestigious preparatory institutions.
